18 years Olivia Huggler died of injuries following Kirkwood Drive shooting

Olivia Huggler death – Cause of death – EVANSVILLE, Ind: Olivia Huggler, 18 years of age has been identified as the victim that passed away among the three people that were shot in the 800 block of Kirkwood Drive on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. According to reports, Olivia was taken to the hospital after the incident but sadly succumbed to the gunshot injuries on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. The other two victims are still in the hospital, one is in a critical condition and the other is stable.

Vicki Davis Tarter wrote a post on the Bethel Baptist Church — Texarkana page of Facebook asking for prayers in respect to the victims of the shooting. The post read: “This is from my sister-in-law in Missouri. Please pray. My family is in shock. Three young adults that go to church camp with us were shot tonight. This family lives in Indiana. Apparently, someone walked into their house and shot the 3 kids (18, 20 & 22) in the head while the other 5 kids were there to witness it. Please pray for this family. Two are in critical care and the other is stable.”

Daniel Alvey was arrested by the Evansville police in connection to the shooting, and he admitted that the gun found at the crime scene belongs to him. According to the police report Samuel Huggler was also arrested after Alvey told the police he was hired by Samuel to shoot the victims.

Olivia Huggler’s obituary will be organized by the family.
